Watchful Premium uses usage-based, post-paid billing. This means you are charged for the services you actually use, rather than paying in advance for a fixed subscription period.
Because payment follows your usage, refunds are generally not applicable. Charges on a Premium account represent Watchful services that have already been used.
What happens when I cancel my Premium plan?
You can cancel your Premium plan at any time.
When your Premium plan is cancelled, no further Premium usage is approved, so no new usage charges are generated.
You may still receive a final invoice for usage that occurred before your cancellation. This is simply the final accounting for services that were already used before the plan was cancelled. Watchful’s Terms of Service specify that Premium and other post-paid plans are invoiced for usage made prior to cancellation.
In practical terms, there is normally nothing to refund because Watchful does not charge you in advance for future Premium usage.
Try Watchful for free first
If you would like to evaluate Watchful before using paid services, you can start with the Free plan.
The Free plan lets you explore the Watchful platform without a credit card or financial commitment. You can test the platform and decide whether Premium features are right for you before generating any paid usage.
Are refunds ever available?
Refunds are not available for Premium and other post-paid plans because payment is collected after the corresponding services have already been used.
Some legacy pre-paid plans may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of the first payment.
For the complete policy, please see the Watchful Terms of Service.
