Cancel your subscription or delete your account

You can cancel your Watchful plan or permanently delete your Watchful account from the Danger Zone in your account settings.

These are two separate actions:

• Cancel Subscription stops your Watchful plan.
• Delete Account permanently removes your Watchful account.

You must cancel your subscription before you can delete your account.

Cancel your Watchful subscription

To cancel your Free or Premium plan:

1. Log in to your Watchful account.
2. Click your name in the top-right corner of the Watchful interface and select Account & Subscription.
3. Select the Danger Zone tab.
4. Click Cancel Subscription.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the cancellation.

Once your subscription has been cancelled, you can leave the account in place or continue with account deletion.

Delete your Watchful account

Account deletion is only available after your subscription has been cancelled.

To permanently delete your account:

1. Log in to your Watchful account.
2. If your subscription is still active, follow the steps above to cancel it first.
3. Click your name in the top-right corner of the Watchful interface and select Account & Subscription.
4. Select the Danger Zone tab.
5. Click Delete Account.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

Deleting your account is different from cancelling your subscription, so make sure you intend to permanently remove the account before confirming the final step.

Not ready to delete your account?

If you only want to stop paid Watchful usage, you do not need to delete your account. Cancelling your subscription is sufficient.

Keeping the account allows you to retain access to your Watchful account without permanently deleting it.
