Add a Joomla! site to Watchful

The Watchful Client connects your Joomla site to Watchful, allowing you to monitor and manage the site from your Watchful dashboard.

Watchful is published in the Joomla Extensions Directory, so the easiest way to install the Watchful Client is with Joomla!’s Install from Web feature.

Before you begin #

Make sure you have:

• A Watchful account
• Administrator access to the Joomla site you want to add

Add your Joomla site #

1. Sign in to your account at Watchful.net.
2. Sign in to the administrator area of your Joomla site.
3. Go to System > Install > Extensions.
4. Select the Install from Web tab. If Install from Web is not yet enabled, follow the Joomla prompt to enable it.
5. Search for Watchful.
6. Select Watchful Client from the search results.
7. Select Install.
8. After installation, select Add site to Watchful.

You will be redirected to your Watchful account, where the newly connected site will appear in your dashboard.
