Personalizing account preferences

You can personalize how dates, times, and other information are displayed in Watchful from your account preferences. You can also manage your participation in the Early Access program from the same page.

Open your account preferences

To access these settings:

  1. Log in to your Watchful account.
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner of the Watchful interface and select Account & Subscription.
  3. Select the Preferences tab.

From here, you can configure your timezone, language, date and time formats, and Early Access preferences.

Change your timezone

Use the Timezone menu to select your local timezone.

Watchful uses this setting when displaying dates and times throughout the platform, so choose the timezone that best matches your location.

After making a change, click Update profile to save it.

Change your language

Use the Language menu to select the language used by the Watchful interface.

After selecting your preferred language, click Update profile.

Choose a date format

The Date format section lets you choose how dates are displayed in Watchful.

The available formats are:

  • yyyy/mm/dd — for example, 2020/12/25
  • mm/dd/yyyy — for example, 12/25/2020
  • dd/mm/yyyy — for example, 25/12/2020

Select your preferred format and click Update profile to save the change.

Choose a time format

The Time format section lets you choose between 12-hour and 24-hour time.

You can select:

  • 12 hours — for example, 3:00 PM
  • 24 hours — for example, 15:00

Select the format you prefer and click Update profile.

Early access to new features

The Early access to new features section controls your participation in Watchful’s Early Access program.

If your account is currently participating, Watchful displays a message confirming that you are part of the Early Access program. This gives you access to selected new features before they become generally available.

You can leave the program at any time:

  1. Scroll to Early access to new features.
  2. Click Opt out of Early Access program.

Your other account preferences are not affected when you opt out.

You can return to the Preferences tab whenever you want to review or update your account preferences.
