The bulk updater is one of the most popular tools at Watchful since it saves a lot of time. It can help you complete tens or hundreds of plugin updates with ease. The Update Fresh eature makes this tool even more powerful.

We integrated our stale backup detection technology with the bulk updater so that you can easily distinguish sites with a recent or “fresh” backup from those that have a stale backup.

As shown below, if a site has a stale backup the update button is colored yellow to indicate caution.

To skip bulk plugin updates on sites with stale backups, simply click the Update Fresh button.
